WHERE ARE THE SHOWS?

Newport Comedy Series shows are at the Newport Blues Café located at 286 Thames Street in Newport, RI.

ARE THE SHOWS AGE RESTRICTED?

Yes. All attendees must be 21 years of age or older to enter.

HOW DO I PURCHASE TICKETS?

Tickets can be pre-purchased online HERE. Most shows sell out, however there may be limited tickets available at the door for some shows.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

The doors open an hour before the show starts. We recommend that ticket holders arrive no later than 30 minutes before showtime to get a good seat and initiate table service before the show starts.

DO I PRINT MY TICKETS OR NEED TO SHOW THEM AT THE DOOR?

If you purchased tickets online, you will receive an email confirmation with your order details. You do not need to "pick up" any tickets or print them out. We have a list at the door the night of the show.

HOW CAN I ENSURE THAT MY PARTY IS SEATED TOGETHER?


General admission is first-come, first-seated as you enter the venue. If your full party arrives 30 to 60 minutes before the show starts, you will have the best chance of being seated as a group.

DO YOU OFFER GROUP DISCOUNTS?

We do not offer group discounts. Private event comedy shows can be booked for groups over 50 people. Contact us for details.

DO YOU HAVE A BAR AND FOOD?

There is a a full bar and you will be served right at your table. Like many comedy shows, we do not offer food. We recommend dining at one of the 30 restaurants within walking distance.

IS THERE A DRINK MINIMUM?

The venue does request a two drink minimum.

SHOULD I RESEARCH THE COMEDIANS BEFORE BUYING TICKETS AND ATTENDING A SHOW?


Yes. Comedy is subjective and certain comedians are not for everybody. Watching a YouTube video is a great way to get insight on the expected performance.

ARE THERE BANNED ITEMS?

Yes. We do no allow large bags, outside food and drink, illegal drugs, weapons, cameras, computers and other electronics. All recording devices other than cell phones will not be allowed.

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

No. 

WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY?

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for any reason.

HOW LONG DO THE SHOWS TYPICALLY LAST?


Shows average 90 minutes.

IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE?

There is public parking on Thames Street and other nearby streets, including memorial boulevard. There are also two nearby public parks lots: Mary Street and Touro Street. Additionally, there are many privately owned paid parking lots. It is recommended that you give yourself extra time to find parking during the tourist season, busy weekends and on holidays.

IS THE CLUB FULLY ACCESSIBLE?


Yes. You can advise the staff at the front door if you need assistance accessing the club without stairs.
